The on-site Reef Divers’ personalized valet services take the work out of diving so guests can enjoy underwater experiences at their own pace. Reef Divers has everything needed for the avid diver, including a fleet of modern customized dive boats, professional guides and dive instructors, plus a complete inventory of dive gear.

The dive staff will take care of your dive gear and get it ready for your next wonderful day of diving. Reef Divers provide the personalized valet dive services that many of our guests don’t even know they want until they experience it. Reef Divers takes the work out of your diving—handling the heavy lifting and care of your boat-dive gear, from your first dive with us through your last dive (unless you’d prefer to do it yourself). We rinse, dry, and store your BCD and regulator daily, so they’re set up and ready for your next day’s diving. The only finger you’ll have to lift is the one to point out your gear as you relax in the boat, ready to go diving.

At the top of the dock, we have separate rinse tanks for photo equipment, wet suits, and general dive gear, plus a drying room for wet suits so you don’t have to take them to your room.

All of our dive boats were custom built for us for safety and diver comfort by Newton Boats in Slidell, Louisiana. They’re 42’ to 46’ in length, 16’ wide, and conform to the highest standards established by the American Bureau of Shipping. They’re powered by Caterpillar, John Deere, or Yanmar engines—all well known and trusted for their power and dependability. Cruising at 20 mph, you’ll quickly and comfortably arrive at dive sites.

Four boats in our fleet of 11 call Cayman Brac Beach Resort their home port: Big Sister, Little Sister, Ocean Sister, and Coral Sister. Each comfortably carries up to 20 divers and two crew members.

Cayman Brac has almost 70 named dive sites that offer enough variety for everyone. Enjoy little to no current and unlimited visibility as you explore beautiful walls, amazing swim-throughs, and gorgeous reefs with abundant marine life. No visit is complete without checking off a dive on our own artificial reef, the MV Captain Keith Tibbetts—a 330-foot long Russian frigate renamed and sunk in 1996. With the Brac’s proximity to Little Cayman as near as five miles away, the diving is equally as beautiful and much more undiscovered than that of its much better known Sister Island.

All of our dive sites are moored, which marks the beginning and ending points of that dive. Our dive masters will brief the location, establish dive limits, and draw a map of the tour they’ll lead. As long as divers remain in buddy teams and stick with the predetermined limits, it’s their option to follow the tour or go off on their own. For those who follow, the tour lasts 35 to 40 minutes. By the time they’re back at the mooring and know that the boat is overhead, most divers feel comfortable enough to continue exploring on their own until their time is up or they run low on air. We recommend that new divers or those who feel more comfortable following the tour remain on the boat and be among the last divers in the water.

In general, at 7:45 AM we begin briefings for our morning 2-tank boat dives and return to the resort for lunch. We begin briefings at 1:45 PM for the afternoon 1-tank boat dives.  Although most of our divers are guests staying at our resort on packages that include diving, if we have space we also sell individual dives a la carte on island.

For guests on dive packages, we offer morning boat dive excursions over to explore Little Cayman’s Bloody Bay Wall and other great sites – weather permitting. These are included at no extra charge. After the dives we go ashore at Little Cayman Beach Resort for lunch.

Divers on meal packages that include lunches enjoy our sister resort’s cuisine at no extra charge. Guest without prepaid lunches can choose to dine at the dining room buffet or a la carte at the bar. Payment is required at the time of service. The boat also stops for the afternoon 1-tank dive off Cayman Brac before returning to Cayman Brac Beach Resort. Divers who have not prepaid for the afternoon dive may pre-purchase and pay at the resort before departing or just sit out on the boat or snorkel the site.

Night boat dives are also offered 2 nights per week based on weather conditions and interest from our guests.  Night dives are not included in packages and can be purchased from the dive shop.

We have converted all our dive documents to digital forms – with the exception of the medical release anyone taking an in-water class from Reef Divers must still print and bring with them. This means that you can complete your dive registration forms online at your convenience prior to your departure. It should take about 10 minutes.

30 days prior to arrival, you will receive an email from us with your diver reservation number and the link. You can complete the forms on your mobile device or desktop. If using your desktop computer, please scan and save the front and back of your c-card which you will need to upload. If you will be using Nitrox, you can use it for both your regular c-card and Nitrox c-card.

We love groups at Cayman Brac Beach Resort! Divers and Non Divers alike… bring your group, large or small, to Cayman Brac and enjoy a fantastic group experience. Groups of up to 20 divers will all dive together on the same dive boat. Larger groups than that will have to split into 2 smaller dive groups.

Groups of 10+ guests will get 1 package free of charge. This can be the group organizer or the savings can be shared equally amongst the group.

Do NOTE that different deposit and cancellation policies apply to groups.

Group Deposit Policy:

Groups require a $500us group deposit within 14 days of booking.  We’ll need you to release any un-booked rooms 90 days prior to arrival and final payment is due 50 days prior to arrival.  We’ll need your final rooming list 45 days prior to arrival.

Group Cancellation Policy:

If the entire group cancels more than 90 days prior to arrival : Full Refund.
If the entire group cancels 60-89 days prior to arrival: Deposit is forfeited.
If the entire group cancels 30-59 days prior to arrival: $100 per room is forfeited.
If any part of the group cancels less than 30 days proper to arrival: non refundable
