The Reef Resort - East End Grand Cayman
The Reef Resort is located on the East End of Grand Cayman island on 1,600 feet of pristine Caribbean beach with snorkeling and diving sites nearby. On site you'll find a bar and restaurant, bistro and spa, wireless high speed internet access, laundry facilities and exercise room. The Reef Resort is fronted by a white sand beach which leads out to great snorkeling. The beach has comfortable lounger chairs and there is a beach bar for that perfect Caribbean cocktail. Beautifully landscaped swimming pools and hot tub, complete with fountains and water falls. One pool is shallow for small children. There is a volley ball court on the beach and also the only astroturf tennis court on the island. The water is usually calm and clear and hosts a wide variety of marine life. Common encounters include the large tarpon fish, blue tangs, French grunt, conch, slimy Doris, squid and two types of ray. The reef is very shallow making it very safe for the whole family. Bicycles, Kayaks, Tennis and basketball are available to all guests free of charge (deposit may be requried). White sand watersports, based on our beach, offers rentals of snorkel gear, kayaks, paddleboats and even windsurf gear.
Planned Activities: There is something to do for the whole family at The Reef Resort... Why not start your day with a yoga session on the veranda, or try water aerobics? Our dedicated activity coordinator hosts a kids movie night every week as well as other kids activities.
Dining: The main restaurant, Pelican's Reef, offers exquisite dishes and a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. Pelican's Reef also plays host to the Barefoot Man every Tuesday and Thursday. Also enjoy our relaxed beach bar, the Rusty Pelican.
All-inclusive option: The Reef Resort is now offering all-inclusive rates for guests that would like to pay one rate up front and have 3 meals per day, bar and restaurant drinks as well as 1 hour of watersports each day from White Sand and snorkel gear ncluded for their full stay. The property consists of a mix of studio, one and two bedroom beach front suites. All suites have balconies or patios offering magnificent views of the Caribbean. Each suite is tastefully decorated and contains all the modern day conveniences one would expect at a resort. Spacious, airy and luxuriously appointed, the suites epitomize island living at it's best.
The one bedroom units are 900 sq. ft. and have a semi private balcony. The unit has a bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bath, a kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, blender and coffee maker, plus a living room and dining area. Two pull out single Murphy beds in the living area provide sleeping for a total of 4 people.
The studio units are 450 sq. ft. and have a semi-private balcony. The studio consists of a room with a king size bed, a full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, and a kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker). The studios accommodate a max of 2 people.
Some of the two bedroom units are a studio unit combined with a 1 bedroom unit, offering a large private balcony, combined living and dining area, a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Stand alone two bedroom suites include full kitchen, living and dining area... and have a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom and two murphy beds in the living room.

- Check-in's are permitted any day of the week.
- Additional charges: 13% government tax and 14% svc..
- Minimum Stay:
- Min. 3 night stay is required (waived if less than 14 days prior to arrival).
- A longer minimum stay may be required during peak periods.
- A deposit equal to 50% of the total is required at the time of booking.
- The balance of payment is due 45 days prior to arrival.
- The Reef Resort accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express.
- 1 night penalty if cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival.
- Non refundable if cancelled within 14 days of arrival or for early check-outs.
- During Hurricane Season (June 1st through November 30th), one night penalty if cancelled 48 hours or
more prior to arrival. Non‐refundable within 48 hours of arrival or for early check outs.
- A change of dates is allowed for a one night penalty, as well as any difference in applicable
rate between the original reservation and the new dates, which must be paid in full at the time of
re-booking. Travel must be completed within one year of the original arrival date.
